I was a little hesitant to book movers with such few reviews, but from the good communication and responsiveness during booking, I felt good enough to give them a shot. The signed contract and certificate of insurance were provided very quickly as well after booking.

On moving day, Andrew and his colleague packed and unpacked my one bedroom apartment in just under four hours from the Peninsula to SF. They showed up right at the end of the estimated 1 hour window of arrival, were very professional and pleasant mannered, and carefully handled my larger furniture.

Now that I’ve had a couple weeks to organize and settle in, it seems like everything arrived intact and undamaged. I move every 1-2 years, and this was truly one of the smoother moves I’ve had.

From the minute I Yelped messaged and communicated with Tony, it was smooth sailing. I easily got a quote and booked within days of my move. Super impressed about how they informed me properly of the all the costs and was actually charged those prices on the day of. Nothing hidden in the fees which is always great.

Move Day:
A team of 4 guys (Igor was lead point) were there on time and even texted when they were close. They started right away and worked together seamlessly. We were downsizing from a 2200 sq ft place to 1100 sq ft, and they were able to get all of our massive furniture in all the right places. I was impressed how they got it up the staircase for it looked impossible.

Highly recommend this company! When we move out of this rental, we will definitely call Finch Moving again!

Had my appointment confirmed via DocuSign, which I appreciated. Other companies just confirmed appointment over the phone, which didn't make it feel legitimate. Their rates are a little bit lower than other local companies. They moved my stuff without damaging it. Would give five stars but the guys moving my stuff smoked weed while transporting all my furniture, which made me feel a little uneasy.

From beginning to end this company is top notch! The manager Olga was very professional and accommodating on extremely short notice.

The movers Vladimir and Demetri showed up right on time and assessed the move perfectly. Because I was moving within the same complex (but still a far distance away) they determined it would be faster to transport everything by multiple trips with their moving carts rather than load/unload the truck. Taking several trips would obviously be more physical work for them but I was seriously impressed at how hard they worked and how quickly they completed the move. They treated all my furniture with great care and not a single ding/scratch on anything. 10 out of 10!!!!

Definitely would recommend Finch Moving Company. I asked for a quote on Yelp and got a reply within 10 minutes. They were also able to accommodate me on short notice (3 days before AND on a Saturday)

Movers arrived right at 8 and loaded everything from a 1 bedroom on the second story with stairs only by 9:40, finished driving to the new place and unloading by 10:50.

Very professional, did provide plastic, tape, blankets and wardrobe boxes. Nothing broke during the move!

I would agree with some reviews that they were very direct on the phone but in person, my movers Art and Vlad were friendly.

Their prices are right, their communication prior to the move was very quick, and they were flexible when we needed them to be.

The day of the move, they showed up right on time and got right to work. We were thoroughly impressed by their speed and efficiency. They were careful with our belongings, communicative, and all around so nice and awesome to work with.

While we hope not to move for a while, when we do, we'll definitely be using Finch!!

I hired Finch Moving strictly to move furniture (no boxes). The movers were on time, friendly, quick and efficient.
